SPECTRUM: Human Resources Manager

This is a Contract position in Cedar Fork, NC posted August 12, 2021.

The Human Resources Manager is responsible for implementing and managing human resources policies and programs in a fast paced call center environment, in the areas of recruitment, employment and employee relations in compliance with government regulations and company goals. Partner with Leadership to support and implement effective short and long term strategies to attain organizational objectives. Combines HR mastery and Industry knowledge to appropriately evaluate and resolve complex HR issues within a fast paced and changing business environment.MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESFocus on service delivery in support of business organizations, providing advice and recommendationsOversee all aspects of employee relations; ensure Company policiesare administered fairly and consistentlyOversee recruiting and staffing process ensuring compliance with EEO, FCC and Affirmative Action; design and implement employee retention strategiesEnsure legal compliance with all applicable local state and federal employment laws, including but not limited to FLSA, FMLA and ADAAA to minimize risk/exposure to the companyProvide guidance to ensure the integrity of the performance management program and the development of employeesProvide consultative support to managers and supervisorsPartner with respective client group in order to understand the business challenges and to ensure effective and timely HR supportManage organizational changeConduct employee investigations and oversee all escalated employee issuesEstablish local procedures to ensure compliance with Company and regulatory agency requirementsHire, train and manage performance and development of direct reportsPerform other duties as requiredREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSSkills/Abilities and KnowledgeAbility to communicate orally and in writing in a clear and straightforward mannerAbility to communicate with all levels of management and company personnelAbility to speak in a public forumAbility to effectively manage/lead projectsAbility to supervise the work of othersAbility to deal with the public in a professional mannerAbility to maintain confidentiality of informationAbility to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressureStrong PC skills and MS Office skillsAbility to prioritize and organize effectivelyAbility to show judgment and initiative and to accomplish job dutiesAbility to work independentlyKnowledge of local state and federal employment laws and proceduresKnowledge of high volume recruitment trends and technologiesKnowledge of wage and hour lawsKnowledge of staffing and employment practicesKnowledge of employee relation’s procedures and applicable lawEducationBachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or organizational behavior or related field or equivalent experienceMaster’s Degree preferredRelated Work Experience5+ years: Human Resource Generalist experience in a multi-location environment2+ years: Supervisory experience preferredCertifications and/or LicensesCertifications for Human Resource Professionals (CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR) preferredValid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record within company required standards preferredWORKING CONDITIONSOffice environmentMinimal travel may be requiredJob Code : HGN505 287648 287648BR For more information on Spectrum’s benefits, please click here.
