This is a Contract position in La Vergne, TN posted August 9, 2021.

The Manager of Diversity Recruiting will be instrumental creating and implementing the Diversity Recruiting strategy for all of Tractor Supply with a focus on supporting our Stores.  

  • Partner with Talent and the Diversity, Inclusion & Equity team in the development and execution of diversity hiring strategies in support of hiring objectives.
  • Design and implement a robust D&I talent strategy focused on better engaging, supporting, and hiring qualified candidates from underrepresented communities where our stores are located.
  • Drive data-driven recruitment programs, convey insights and decisions and leverage new and existing data to inform how to attract, select, grow, and retain diverse talent.
  • Develop performance metrics and goals for diversity recruiting efforts and track against these metrics.
  • Develop and execute effective sourcing strategies that deliver high caliber diverse talent for current and future needs across functions. Ensures search efforts reach a diverse spectrum of candidates, with results that reflect labor market availability for ethnicity and gender within protected EEO job categories.
  • Identifying external trends and recognizing best practice which will increase diversity among the workforce.
  • Maintaining relationships with diversity related businesses within our communities
  • Seeks out new and creative ideas to proactively attract candidates and build talent networks and pipelines. This may include social and professional networking sites, resume mining, outreach efforts, career fairs, website postings, special recruiting events and other advertisements as needed.
  • Makes selection recommendations and decisions for new employees and extends employment offers to candidates. Strives to meet diversity hiring and affirmative action goals throughout the Talent Acquisition process and positively impacts time to fill rate and quality of hire.
  • Recommends training or programs that help foster development and employment of veterans, minorities, and females or others who can transition into roles to fill key skill gaps in the future.

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in Recruiting/Talent Acquisition managing, and prioritizing multiple searches, projects, and customer relationships
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years of diversity and inclusion strategy and/or execution experience driving national relationships resulting in increased diverse pipelines and hires.
  • A proven track record of driving D&I initiatives, finding new solutions in hiring and growing a pipeline of candidates
  • Experience developing relationships with external partners to advance company D&I initiatives
  • Highly comfortable using data to drive decision making and measure success
  • Outstanding communication skills and track record of building alignment amongst cross-functional partners to drive initiatives
  • Ability to effectively lead and execute many projects and tasks in parallel
  • Ability to influence various teams without direct reporting structure                        

 Education Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.  Any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.

  

Other knowledge, skills or abilities Expertise with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) preferred. Experience with all Microsoft applications is required.
