Business Management Associates (BMA) is seeking an experienced Senior Human Resources Specialist who will perform technical, analytical, consulting, and administrative services in support of the agency in accordance with office policies.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
Support agency operations and customers by providing real-time routine and nonroutine information to callers and visitors and shall direct inquiries to appropriate agency personnel effectively service employees and external customers Specialize duties may include to plan, develop, implement, administer and evaluate comprehensive human resources program for the visa and immigration services for present and future needs and goals.
Administer visa/immigration programs/procedures for the non-citizen employees and contractors for the Voice of America; files waivers Additional duties may not be listed QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS :
Five (5) years relevant experience in Federal Human Resources Policies Must possess knowledge and understanding of Office of Personnel Management (OPM) regulations, standards, guidelines with the ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
Knowledge of a wide range of personnel management subjects that inclusive in determining employee and labor relations practices in the federal government including in-depth knowledge of the Douglas Factors and the ability to apply those criteria to propose disciplinary actions EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree required and seven (7) years’ federal human resources experience.
