Senior Human Resources Coordinator Cantor Fitzgerald We are a financial services firm with an excellent opportunity for a strong Senior Human Resources Coordinator to join a service-driven team of human resources professionals.
The qualified candidate will be able to work effectively and independently in a fast-paced environment.
He/she will be expected to manage and resolve day-to-day issues in a time sensitive manner.
Responsibilities Ensures accurate and timely entry of all new hires, status changes, and transfers in ORACLE (HRIS) for his or her assigned population and forwards appropriate paperwork to the Payroll department, securing required signatures for timely processing.
Processes on-boarding paperwork (I-9/E-Verify, W4, Employee Handbook, etc.) and verifies documents are received and completed correctly.
Maintains employee records in a HRIS so that information is accurate and secure.
Data management may include personal information; compensation, benefits, performance, new hire/termination records; leave accrual records; absences, transfers, salary progressions etc.
Provides general administrative support for HR Functions including creating and maintaining personnel and terminated electronic files, processing invoices, employment verifications and organizational charts.
Runs standard and ad hoc Human Resources Information System (HRIS) reports in support of the Human Resources Data Management team.
Conducts New Hire Orientation and assists with the Onboarding process Handles employee offboarding process and conducts exit interviews Serves as a point of contact for employee inquiries Assists with other assignments and projects as needed.
Desired Skills & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field At least 1 year of proven experience as an HR coordinator or relevant human resources/administrative experience Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and fluid organization Proven track record of superior client services skills, along with the ability to multitask, and prioritize efficiently Motivated, proactive, self-starter, and works with a sense of urgency Ability to demonstrate and understand the importance of confidentiality and discretion Experience with Oracle and Taleo is a plus
