Education at Work is seeking a full-time Senior Director of Campus Recruiting and Student Success who will lead the development and implementation of a campus recruitment strategy yielding high achieving students from Universities in our Salt Lake City and Tempe locations.
The successful candidate’s primary responsibilities will be (1) the development and execution of a full recruitment cycle for student employees, while (2) increasing brand awareness to a diverse spectrum of stakeholders and university constituents.
Roles and Responsibilities
– Campus Recruiting (60%)
- Development a campus engagement strategy to be delivered and executed EAW locations in Salt Lake City, Utah and Tempe, Arizona.
- Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for university stakeholders in our Salt Lake City, Utah location.
- Cultivate relationships with university and community stakeholders to identify new avenues for recruiting students
- Deliver Education at Work’s philosophy and mission to various avenues of student interaction including one on one meetings, classroom presentations, and student groups
- Continual assessment and calibration of recruitment lifecycle and recruitment processes to drive process improvement in the candidate experience and increased ROI for Education at Work
- Collaborate with Workforce Management and Operations team to create aggressive but realistic recruiting and staffing plans for business clients
- Collaborate with marketing to identify branding and advertisement opportunities to further EAW brand and value proposition to students
- Coordinate the campus recruiting calendar and serve as primary point person for campus events
- Supervise Assistant Director in Tempe, AZ and Team of Student Ambassadors in Salt Lake City, UT

– Recruiting Life Cycle (30%)
- Screen and interview high-caliber student candidates
- Serve as main point of contact for applicants through the recruitment and interview process
- Partner with managers to determine requirements and scheduling needs for the position
- Maintain requisitions and applicant/interview/hire/attrition data

Roles and Responsibilities
– Student Success (10%)
- Promote student-centered environment with students and professional staff population
- Advise students on various issues including but not limited to academics, transitions, financial concerns and career development
- Assist with planning internal events during high staffing days
Education and Experience
- 5 – 8 years of experience in handling high volume recruiting either in a higher education or contact center environment
- Knowledge of university structure and ability to navigate academic life, student life and auxiliary services on respective campuses is preferred
- Diverse experience in management of applicant tracking systems (ATS) and customer relationship management (CRM) software – Lever (ATS) and Salesforce (CRM) experience preferred
- Knowledge and understanding of recruitment lifecycle analytics
- Exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment with a high sense of urgency
- Passionate about creating relationships and making a difference
- Ability to identify opportunities that “fall outside the box” and initiate actions to take advantage of those opportunities
