Recruitment Coordinator

This is a Full-time position in Atlanta, GA posted October 24, 2021.

The Recruitment Coordinator will coordinate all non-partner recruiting functions for the office and ensure all candidates receive a world-class candidate experience throughout the recruitment and selection process.

Responsibilities:

Overall responsibilities

  • In cooperation with Recruitment Manager, coordinate associate recruitment, PBS recruitment, summer program and On-Campus Interview Program (OCI) for designated office(s), with a focus on attracting and hiring diverse talent
  • Ensure coordination with the End-to-end (E2E) team across all service level requests to ensure support is seamless and provides high level candidate experience
  • Participate in one recruiting sub-workstream (e.g., Recruitment Data/Reporting or Recruitment Marketing/Social Media)

Law Student OCI Recruitment

  • Coordinate law student outreach initiatives under direction of OCI recruiting workstream lead
  • Arrange and coordinate law student on-campus interview schedules and ensure interviewers are confirmed
  • Execute call-back interview process, ensuring timely hiring decisions are made in conjunction with local recruiting committees
  • With E2E support, ensure all invoices (e.g., moving; candidate reimbursements, etc.) are processed
  • Active member of the office’s local recruiting committee; work with Recruitment Manager, NA Associate Recruiting to set meeting agendas

Lateral Associate Recruitment

  • In cooperation with Recruitment Manager, develop relationships with local recruiting agencies and other industry organizations to promote the Firm
  • Coordinate sourcing to hire recruitment process, with support from E2E teams
  • Schedule and participate in routine check-ins with newly hired first year and lateral associates (e.g., 30, 60, 90 day check-ins)

Summer Associate Program

  • Plan summer associate calendar, coordinate and execute summer events and activities; Attend all summer associate calendar events
  • Coordinate ongoing communications with summer associates prior to arrival, including: employment terms/conditions, travel arrangements, housing work assignments and mentor relationships
  • Develop and implement summer associate orientation and ensure their integration experience is of the highest quality and substance
  • Serve as a liaison with summer associates to address inquiries or other employment matters
  • Work with Recruiting Manager and regional practice leadership to coordinate work assignments, secure performance feedback and assist in coordinating requisite training
  • Secure summer program feedback from summer associates and Firm members, recommend and enact approved changes to the program
  • Work with Recruiting Manager and local Recruiting Committee to finalize hiring decisions and conducting follow-up administration

Professional Business Services Recruitment

  • In conjunction with Recruitment Manager, PBS, execute the delivery of recruitment for PBS positions in NA, as requested

Additional Duties

  • Review recruiting budget monthly with Recruiting Manager to maintain accuracy of charges
  • Volunteer to participate in a minimum of one recruiting project as it relates to the annual NA Recruiting Action Plan and the sub-workstream they are a member of
  • Participate in various recruiter organizations (e.g., City Group; NALP; Other) to increase personal networking, knowledge sharing and promotion of the Firm

Skills and Experience:

  • Some recruiting experience in a professional services organization and/or large law firm, preferably with multi-office and in support of a diverse base of legal practices
  • Developing skills in direct sourcing methodologies and delivery
  • Developing sophisticated written and oral communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Able to work at a fast-pace, problem solve and deliver solutions against tight timelines, focusing on developing solid organizational skills
  • Able to bring good judgement and empathy to sensitive situations
  • Be an active member of various recruiter organizations (e.g., City Group; NALP, etc.)
