JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Works primarily with either the full time hiring of Staff and Faculty or the Emory Temporary Services hiring processes.These roles serve as backups to each others main duties.

    Creates, analyzes and maintains recruiting metrics for team members, Human Resources and clients.

  • Provides HR and Recruiting leadership with monthly financial statements including trending, profitability, forecasting and analytics for business decisions.
  • Serves as the primary process owner for payroll troubleshooting including missed punches, shift differentials, time adjustments, supplemental pay requests, on demand checks and Retro Salary Transfers (RST) to ensure actions are processed in a timely manner.
  • Reviews and processes vendor invoices and billing to ensure accuracy while gathering any necessary documentation for chargeback processing.
  • Owns policy and procedure creation and updates for the recruiting teams and drives onboarding and operational training of new team members.
  • Is involved in recruitment marketing efforts including social media, vendor support, career fairs, open houses, and/or advertising efforts to enhance sourcing capabilities.
  • Confirms and updates temporary employee record transactions in PeopleSoft using HR Web for terminations, supervisor changes and/or updates to Data Services.
  • Performs related responsibilities as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources or related field and one year of recruiting, accounting or related experience OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • Exceptional knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

    Basic accounting knowledge preferred.

  • Ability to critically analyze issues using data driven evidence.
  • Exceptional planning, organizational and prioritization skills; strong attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work with confidential and sensitive data.
  • Knowledge of financial and human resources systems, including PeopleSoft, iCIMS, Qualtrics, and Kronos preferred.

NOTE: This role will be granted the opportunity to work from home regularly but must be able to commute to Emory University on a flexible weekly schedule based upon business needs.

Schedule is based on agreed upon guidelines of department of work.
