If you have passion for the outdoors and would like to work for a reputable, long standing organization, Team Easton might be a great fit for you.We are currently looking for a Recruiting & Onboarding Specialist to join our Human Resource team at our Salt Lake manufacturing facility.Primary Job DutiesFacilitate and manage all phases of the recruitment process for all non-exempt and certain exempt positions.Work closely with department managers and Human Resource Manager on hiring needs including accurate hiring criteria and job descriptions.Implement efficient and effective recruiting methods based on the position and needs of the organization.
This includes online job ads, job fairs and other public recruiting, and potentially direct company to candidate marketing.
Represent the company professionally in all interactions.
Respond promptly to all job applicants; Conduct phone or in-person interviews and/or coordinates interviews with the hiring manager.
Work closely with the hiring manager and fellow Human Resources staff to draft written offer letters and communicate the offer to the candidate.
Coordinate pre-employment screenings for incoming new hires and consult Human Resource Manager with any issues that may arise.
Communicate with incoming new hires regarding first day details.Onboard new hires by meeting them on their first day and assist with ADP registration.Maintain accurate records of open positions, new hires, and terminations; send out weekly dashboard information.
Conduct new hire orientation 1-2 x’s per month for new employees.Coordinate new hire welcome gifts with 3rd party vendor.Conduct 30/60/90-day check in’s with new hires; work with management and Human Resource staff on any feedback or concerns.Desired CharacteristicsMust be able to speak, understand, and read/write fluent English in person, over the phone, and by written correspondence.Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite with the ability to learn new software.
Must have an outgoing and assertive personality with the ability to interact with a diverse population of people.
