This is a Contract position in Goodyear, AZ posted November 28, 2021.

Job Summary: Achieves staffing objectives by advertising openings, recruiting and evaluating job candidates and collaborating with managers. The recruiter will be responsible for screening and interviewing of potential employees.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manages full life cycle-recruitment
  • Partner with HR and hiring managers to understand hiring needs, provides weekly status reports and reports on KPIs including time-to-fill, cost per hire, offer acceptance rate, etc.
  • Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
  • Creates and obtains approval for job requisitions using Applicant Tracking System
  • Advertises openings in appropriate channels
  • Works with external and internal sources to identify and attract candidates for open positions including but not limited to community agencies, local colleges and universities, employment agencies, media and internet sources, etc.
  • Attends career fairs.
  • Builds pipeline of candidates for projected staffing needs.
  • Assists with immigration related activities for hiring foreign nationals.
  • Determines applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications
  • Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; verifying references; comparing qualifications to job requirements.
  • Arranges management interviews by coordinating schedules; arranging travel, lodging, and meals; escorting applicant to interviews; arranging community tours.
  • Administers candidate assessments when applicable
  • Ensures background checks and DOT pre-employment requirements are completed prior to employee start.
  • Identifies opportunities to improve recruitment process.
  • Assists with other HR duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in a staffing agency

Skills and Abilities:

  • Must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent relationship building and networking ability
  • Ability to interact with all staff levels/departments
  • Ability to multi-task

Physical Requirements:

  • Requires prolonged periods of sitting at desk.
  • Must be able to use hands and arms for repetitive movements, such as movement of wrists, hands, fingers while typing.
  • May occasionally be required to lift and carry up to 10lbs.
