Recruiter

Verigent, a nationwide job placement agency in the telecommunications and technology space, is growing, and we are actively interviewing for an Entry-Level Recruiter to join our team!

· Recruiters start as sourcing specialists, focused on developing their skills at finding quality candidates, conducting initial screenings and building candidate pipelines

· The next step is becoming a recruiter, whose primary responsibility is to identify and place candidates for specific jobs, both temporary and permanent

· Opportunities to move into other roles are also possible, such as business development, account management, and management

Primary starting responsibilities include:

· Connecting with talented candidates to identify their strengths and interests, with the end goal of matching them to the jobs that are the best fit

· Posting jobs and managing the flow of applicants

· Developing an understanding of the skill sets in the telecommunications field

· Generating sales leads to help the business development team target new accounts

Desired Qualifications:

· A bachelor’s or associate’s degree in business, human resources or communications

· Proficiency with MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook

· Prior work history in a sales, recruiting or service-driven role

Essential Functions of the job:

· Stationary positioning; including sitting for extended periods of time

· Repetitive motions, including the use of fine motor skills in the arms, hands and fingers

· Communication with others to exchange information

· Indoor elements with expected temperatures
