This is a Full-time position in Tupelo, MS posted October 15, 2021.

Career Center:

 Assists Supervisor in all phases of the career center.

 Handles rollover phone calls not able to be answered by Supervisor

 Works/sorts farmed candidates that are brought into the system on a daily basis-and determines which ones to call for immediate qualification. Emails new graduates, calls all others. For those that are spoken to and qualified; distribute on a daily send out sheet to recruiters and hot-list accordingly.

 Monitors and maintains daily job nominations through the “Heidi” hot-list to ensure recruiters are responding to candidates that apply for a position for customer service quality control. Reminders are sent out after 3 days of no contact.

 Recovers and calls candidates that recruiters are unable to utilize. Checks with them to see if their job search could be expanded in other areas or geographic locations. This is what is called the “flipped candidate project”. This is additionally monitored from the “Heidi” 3-day hot-list.

 As needed (during vacations and times of high volume) backs up Career Center Supervisor.

 In conjunction with other Career Center staff, first point of contact for all applicants who are seeking employment. This includes handling/forwarding inbound career center calls as needed.

 Track and/or enter caller into data base for further contact and processing. Follow-up or forward any phone call message received through answering service.

 Contact applicants, either by phone or email, in order to complete a profile questionnaire and to familiarize each applicant

 Notify recruiters of website and campaign related applicants who apply for specific positions

 Package applicants, complete with all the details regarding their job search and their resume, and send to the appropriate recruiting staff person

 Create a new file, within the company database, for each applicant. Attach profile responses and resumes to related file

 Prepare data for reporting related to the number of applicants that were processed through the system and the source of origination on a weekly basis. Provide to supervisor.

 Ensure that collected resumes are sent to a staff member handling offsite backup

 Trade show follow-up Career Center staff; plans scheduled follow-up for trade show attendees that register with the company

 Career Center staff in conjunction with Heidi – grow University marketing program to promote the company and job opportunities

 The Career Center staff – expand communication and marketing efforts through the incorporation of texting and voice casting.

 Special projects – as needed and/or as time allows, Career Center will handle special request from recruiters to assist in candidate calls or search, adding new clinics, hospitals, home health clients as recruiters try to development and saturate specific geographic areas. Recruiters need to request in advance for special projects.

 Company representative for attended conventions as needed.

Qualifications:

 To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:

 Education/Experience: Associate’s degree or equivalent; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 Computer Skills: This position requires good computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, Email programs and the ability to learn and become completely fluent in working with the company database software.

 Customer Service: Must have excellent oral and written communications skills. Responds promptly to all requests and meets commitments on behalf of the team.

 Business Acumen – Understand the scope of services offered by the company and the education, licensure and experience required of each applicant in order to work for clients.

 Interpersonal and Professionalism Skills Maintains confidentiality; Listens to others without interrupting; Treats others with respect and consideration; Follows through on commitments.

 Planning/Organizing Prioritizes and plans work activities; Uses time efficiently.
