Long-standing financial firm going through exciting growth that is creating opportunities, like this one The staff member working as a Recruiter is responsible for soliciting and recruiting prospective financial representatives with the assistance and training provided by the Senior Firm Development Associates and department manager.

The primary responsibility for the position is to design and implement recruiting plans, obtaining referrals, and solicit prospective representatives.

Eight to 10 years experience in either securities broker-dealer and/or RIA environments is ideal.

Work requires moderate amount of domestic travel and some presence at home office location in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Communication: Must exhibit strength in verbal communication, both via phone and within in-person conference setting.

Most important is the ability to communicate verbally; however, written communication skills are also needed.

Equipment and Software Skills: Basic computer skills are required.

License Requirements: Ideal candidates will have passed the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam, as well as have earned both the Series 7 and 66 licenses, or willingness to obtain within first 12 months.

Education and / or Experience: Ideal candidates will have obtained a Bachelor’s degree.

Ideal candidates will have eight to 10 years experience in either securities broker-dealer and/or RIA environments.

Two years of customer service experience required.
