This is a Contract position in Murrysville, PA posted August 13, 2021.

Virginia Health Services is in search of a Recruiter to join our team here in Newport News, VA.

This position is Full Time working Monday
– Friday from 8:30am
– 5pm.Job Responsibilities:Establish, cultivate, and maintain ongoing relationships with hiring managers in order to understand the recruitment needs; develop and maintain a strong rapport with key leaders.

Execute recruitment plan by aggressively recruiting for highly talented candidates from a variety of sources, managing selection process to include interviewing, assessing candidates, screening, and recommending finalists.Review applications and interview applicants to obtain work history, education, training, job skills, and salary requirements, and to provide information about the organization and position.

Screens and refers candidates for additional interviews with others in organization.Assist with recruitment programs, budgets, and collateral to attract applicants and to fill specific job openings.Develop and maintain network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates.

Utilize Internet online recruiting sources to identify and recruit candidates.Develop and maintain contacts with schools, alumni groups, and other public organizations to find and attract applicants.Write and place job advertising in various media and monitor monthly/annual advertising budget for the areas of responsibility.Analyze demographics data and hiring activity for use in designing recruitment plans.

Coordinate participation in, set up display, and recruit at job fairs.Work with external recruiters and employment agencies to identify and recruit candidates, as directed.Perform reference and background checks on applicants.Demonstrate knowledge of EEO policy; show respect and sensitivity for cultural differences; educate others on the value of diversity; promote a harassment-free environment; contribute to building a diverse workforce.Treat people with respect; keeps commitments; inspire the trust of others; work with integrity and principles; uphold organizational values.Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness; look for ways to improve and promote quality.

Monitor own work to ensure quality.Meet productivity standards; completes work in timely manner; strives to increase productivity; works quickly.Coordinates communications with applicants, responds to applicants quickly, providing periodic updates for qualified applicants.Coordinates applicants, necessary documentation and reporting for internal training programs, and workforce development grants.Files and maintains employment records for future references.

Other duties may be assigned.Education:Associates degree required.Required Skills:2 years recruitment experience required.

Health care experience preferred.Ability to utilize Word, Excel, Outlook and other database applications.Excellent customer service skills.Excellent communication skills.Ability to work independently.Ability to function in a rapidly changing health care environment.Why join Virginia Health Services?
