Quality Assurance Engineer

is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer in Marion, MA.

Description: The selected candidate will apply quality principles in the areas of: design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation, program performance, reliability, and inventory control as they apply to product or process quality for make and/or buy products.

Perform technical evaluations including product requirements, specifications, models/designs, drawings and procedures.

Collaborate with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and customers on quality related issues to ensure quality standards are in place.

Engage in product failure investigations, material review board decisions and corrective/preventive action.

Ensure corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and/or are compliant with requirements.

Develop strategies and systems designed to improve internal and/or supplier performance and productivity.

Evaluate quality systems for deficiency identification and correction.

Develop and analyze inspection and testing processes, mechanisms and equipment; conduct product quality tests, perform statistical analysis to assess products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications.

The selected candidate will support production line inspectors, DCMA sell off presentations, RMA activities, nonconforming product review and disposition, various performance metrics, C of C Experience leading a team such as a Material Review Board for dispositioning Nonconforming Material preferred Requirements: Audit Experience is Preferred IPC-A-610 experience is Preferred IPC-WHMA-A-620 experience is Preferred Background in Quality Engineering preferred Secret-Ability to Obtain A Degree in Not Required.
