Total Airport Services
Duties include, but are not limited to: PAYROLL:
– Processes new hire and termination paper work
– Compiles payroll data such as hours worked, taxes, insurance, and garnishments to be withheld, and employee identification number from time sheets and other records.
– Prepares input forms, enters data into computer files, computes wages & deductions , posts to payroll records.
– Reviews wages computed and corrects errors to ensure accuracy of payroll.
– Records changes affecting net wages such as exemptions, insurance coverage, and loan payments, update master payroll records.
– Records data concerning transfer of employees between departments.
– Prorates expenses to be debited or credited to each department for cost accounting records.
– Prepares periodic reports of earnings, taxes, and deductions.
– Keeps records of leave pay and nontaxable wages.
– Prepares and issues paychecks.
– Audits work hours of employees for payroll reporting
– Processes employee payroll
– Processes vacation and sick time for unpaid leaves of absence
– Other duties as assigned.
BOOKKEEPING:
– Payroll entry in QuickBooks
– Enter ADP Billings
– Posts transactions into the proper journals (maintained appropriate transaction back-up (i.e., receipts, invoices,purchase orders, etc.)
– Enters vendor invoices in Quick Books (so Corporate office can generate payment to vendors).
– Maintains Accounting hard copy files
– Process original invoices received from the vendor
– Create all necessary invoices
– Processes garnishments and levys in ADP
ADMINISTRATION:
– Create labels for new hire folders, child support, medical support, workers compensation, etc.
– Vendor management: Maintain vendor file must have current W9 form in order for TAS to pay out a check.
– Consistently maintain up-to-date contact information in both QuickBooks and on Outlook contacts.
HUMAN RESOURCES:
– Audits employee files for background checks
– Audits employee files for (E-Verify) employment eligibility
BENEFITS:
– Processes benefit enrollments, cancellations, changes including 401(k), medical, dental, vision, STD and LTD.
– Work with controller on Workers Compensation, 401(k) and 5500 audits
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
– 3-7 years experience in Payroll Processing;-Must have ADP experience, preferred in Workforce Now 7.0 and Enhanced Time and Attendance;-3 years experience in Benefits including 401k,401k loans, LOAs, cafeteria plans, vendor bill reconciliation and std/ltd
COMPUTER SKILLS: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of: * QuickBooks Accounting software * ADP Workforce Now 7.0 and Time and Attendance Payroll systems * MS OFFICE (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) * Internet Usage * PC and Windows Usage experience

– May occasionally be asked to run local errands.-Other Duties as assigned.
