A Payroll Clerk position has opened up at a growing company that Accountemps has partnered with whose duties include supporting the Payroll department in a variety of duties. The company is looking for a candidate to join their dynamic, fast-growing team who can effectively communicate with both the internal team and outside customers. The Payroll Clerk’s job duties consist of data entry, reconciliation of timecards, paycheck distribution and providing statements to various departments. The Payroll Clerk position is looking to be filled on a long-term temporary employment contract.

What you get to do every single day

– Data entry into spreadsheets and the payroll system

– Administer and distribute reports as instructed

– Manage communications with employees on timesheet approvals

– Arrange data into spreadsheets and the payroll system

– Build and run custom reports

– Conduct clerical duties such as filing, scanning, faxing, photocopying, etc

– Supply the organization with instructions/training regarding the use of payroll-related systems including entry of timesheets, online access of pay statements, etc.

Job Requirements:

– Multi-state payroll experience

– Comprehensive knowledge of bi-Monthly Payroll

– 1+ years of previous payroll experience

– Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are a must

– Ability to easily learn new systems

– Excellent communication and organizational skills

– Detailed and have the ability work independently

– Outstanding data entry skills

– Microsoft Excel experience
