– Sports and outdoor products About the Company and Opportunity: Our client is a global market leader in a variety of product categories, including roof racks, roof boxes, and bike racks.

They develop safe and stylish solutions for active families and outdoor enthusiasts in 140 countries around the world.

Overview of the Payroll Administrator role: Payroll processing for US and Canada locations for 500 employees including new hires, transfers, adjustments, garnishments, and terminations.

Responsible for preparing and reconciling payroll to general ledger Assist in preparation of monthly journal entries.

Assist with year-end audit, budgets, forecasts, etc.

as needed including updating dept salary info Filing of state and federal government surveys and annual reports.

Ensure regulatory payroll compliance and reconciliation of W-2s.

Timely resolution of payroll, deduction, tax, and system issues.

Perform periodic quality audits to ensure data integrity of payroll system.

Perform ongoing analysis of payroll systems and provide forward thinking suggestions for continuous improvements.

Annual calculation and processing of merit increases.

Responsible for system administration and employee training for ADP Self Service and Payroll systems.

Responsible for analyzing data, troubleshooting system defects, daily and weekly file feeds and maintaining system tables and codes Process employment verifications Maintain and prepare timecards as required for hourly new hires, seasonal workers, and agency temporary employees Monthly and yearly headcount and corporate reporting.

Participate in worker’s compensation and 401k discrimination testing for annual audits Support other functions as required and assigned by supervisor.

Preferred Qualifications for the Payroll Administrator: Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent work experience.

Extensive ADP ‘Workforce Now ‘knowledge, specifically Payroll, HR & Benefits, Time & Attendance Modules are required 5 years of payroll processing experience in manufacturing environment General accounting knowledge Multi-state payroll experience required.

Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations pertaining to payroll.
