The Payroll Administrator provides a long-term temporary role from its Greer, South Carolina location.

Major responsibilities
– Exercise review and verification of source documents
– Collect, calculate, and enter relevant data to maintain payroll records
– Retrieve and assess information in order to resolve payroll discrepancies
– Protect confidential payroll operation information and maintain employee confidence
– Calculate employee federal and state income and social security taxes and employer social security, unemployment, and worker compensation payments to establish payroll liabilities
– Handle payroll record updates by keeping changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job title and department/division transfers
– Preparing relevant weekly, monthly, quarterly and year-end reports for circulation to department heads
– Ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations and guidelines
– Maintaining payroll operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes
– Providing payroll information by answering questions and requests
– Perform any other duties that arise in the course of normal business operations
– Offer assistance with internal and external audits related to payroll
– Able to reconcile employee deductions and other liabilities
– Compile summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and nontaxable wages as part of report preparation If you are interested in this position, please send your resume to for consideration.n n Job Requirements: n
– Expertise with internal controls
– Relevant experience of 2+ years in payroll
– Well-informed in basic accounting principles and solid financial acumen
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills
– Accurate, swift, data entry abilities
– Prior experience working with collections/accounting software
– Knowledge of federal and state payroll regulations and requirements
– Proficient with high volume multi-state payroll, billing, licensing, AP, etc.

– Demonstrated ability in strong analytical, quantitative and social skills
– Full Cycle Payroll experience
– Strong familiarity with multi-state payroll
– In-house payroll experience
– Foundational knowledge in payroll for over 500 employees
