Payroll and Accounts Payable/Receivable Administrator: Our client, a growing family-owned manufacturing company located in Litchfield County, is looking for a Payroll & Accounts Payable/Receivable Administrator to join their team Payroll Responsibilities: Responsible to provide employees with the accurate and timely payment of wages.
Provides timely answers to employee’s payroll questions and addresses issues that may arise.
Payroll processing and auditing payroll for any discrepancies, taking necessary steps to make any corrections.
Works with employees on payroll issues and distributes employee communications as appropriate.
Work with Managers on questions related to Timesheets or Time Away from Work.
Ensure employee confidence by protecting payroll operations and confidential information.
Accounts Payable: Responsible for Vendor Maintenance, verifying payment terms, ensuring all W9’s have been received and new Vendors are approved by the Controller and obsolete vendors are made inactive.
Distribute invoices for approval.
Process invoices in ERP system in a timely manner.
Process weekly payments which include checks, ACH, and wires.
Filing invoices, working towards a paperless process.
Accounts Receivable: Post all cash received daily.
File cash posting details electronically.
Ensure customers are qualified to apply discounts taken.
Work with Senior Accountant on Collections issues.
Preferred Experience: Knowledge and experience with Ceridian Dayforce Payroll Intermediate Excel skills Sage 100 or other ERP experience.
Minimum of 5 years experience CFS2021
