This is a Full-time position in Alantic City, VA posted August 9, 2021.

This position is responsible for supporting the Student Engagement & Traditions (SET) functions by coordinating/delegating all aspects of the daily office operations, including but not limited to: assisting in office programs, training and supervising student workers, helping with student organization management, providing students and families customer service and assistance with inquires, and assisting all visitors in the office.Given the nature of the positions in Student Engagement & Enrollment Services that provide support to student and family services and/or student-centered programs, the employee occupying this position may be required to work during a university closing. There may be occasions where the employee will be asked to work during university closings as directed by his or her supervisor. These instances may include working from a remote location (i.E. telework, etc.).Required Qualifications:Working knowledge of effective customer service and problem resolution techniques. Working knowledge of problem resolution techniques. Working knowledge of PC-related software to include Microsoft Office suite. Effective oral and written communication skills. Effective program or office management skills. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple complex tasks and work independently. Demonstrated ability to lead and direct the work of others. Demonstrated ability to work in a busy office setting and handle frequent interruptions with a high degree of patience.
