SummaryThe Legal Recruiting Coordinator will support the engagement and recruitment of law student and new attorney candidates for Sidley’s Washington, DC office.Duties and Responsibilities* Provides coordination and support for all activities involved in law student hiring and campus outreach for the Washington, DC office* Organizes the on-campus recruitment program including registering for on-campus interviews, organizing bid packets and entering candidate selections, and preparing on-campus materials for interviewers* Reviews, organizes, and sends write-in applications to hiring partners* Coordinates candidate call-back interview process* Schedules, prepares for, and attends candidate review meetings with hiring partners, keeping organized records of all decisions made and action steps following meetings* Maintains LawCruit database for OCI and entry level applicants; reviews and respond to applications as appropriate* Tracks post-offer follow-up efforts including coordination of offer dinners* Builds and maintains relationships with Career Services contacts at target schools* Coordinates, staffs, and attends 1L law student outreach programs* Helps foster and maintain relationships between students and Sidley, acting as main point of contact for recruits throughout 1L, 2L, and 3L hiring process* Liaises with Diversity professionals on sponsorship requests, law student outreach, candidate follow up, and recruitment for 1L Diversity Fellows* Works with practice group leaders to determine potential hiring needs for first year associates* Supports lateral attorney recruiting and summer associate program activities as neededQualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the Duties and Responsibilities (Duties) above satisfactorily and meet the requirements below.
