This is an on-site role in Blue Springs, MOThe Human Resources Manager oversees all aspects of the sourcing and recruiting of candidates for both salaried and hourly positions.
In addition, operates as a strategic business partner within one of the company’s distribution and/or co-packing sites.
This individual will support programs to foster a positive and engaged environment, communicating policies and working with local management to resolve associate relations issues as needed.Kane specializes in making retail supply chains more efficient.
Our 3PL warehousing and transportation services are designed to meet the logistics needs of consumer goods manufacturers selling through retailers and grocery chains, as well as ecommerce channels.
Kane Logistics operates over 7 million square feet within both dedicated distribution centers (single client) and shared distribution centers (multiple clients), and contract packing sites spanning every region of the U.S.
Our nationwide network provides consumer product companies with the national distribution infrastructure they need to get products to market quickly and efficiently.Requirements5+ years of HR Generalist experience that includes accountability for the HR functions in a diverse environment.5+ years strong recruitment experience required5+ years managing HR/ associate relations with an hourly workforce in a fast-paced environment requiredStrong oral and written skill set.Strong organizational skills.Experience with ADP platforms, including E-Time, Enterprise, ADPRM helpful.Bachelor Degree in Human Resources or business-related field preferred.SHRM CP-SCP/PHR/SPHR helpful.Bi-lingual Spanish preferredAbility to work a flexible schedule within a 24/7 operation.ResponsibilitiesRecruits, interviews, and selects associates to fill vacant exempt and non-exempt positions across the network of DCs.
Coordinated the conversion of temporary employees to permanent associatedIdentifies trends in turnover and recommends solutions.Effectively coach leadership in matters relating to people, HR processes, programs and corresponding impact to the business.Ability to recommend and create effective counseling or coaching documentation.Manages resolution of associate relations investigations to ensure fair, consistent, and proper resolution in consideration of company policy, procedures and values.Manages HRIS and administrative tasks to provide proper and accurate data entry, maintenance and reporting in a timely manner.Coordinate/conduct new hire and new leader orientations.Represents organization at personnel related hearings and investigations.Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures and reporting are in compliance.Partners with site leadership to plan and coordinate associate morale eventsBenefitsMedical, Dental, Vision (available on the 1st day of the month after hire) (Options available)401K with matching program (enrolment waiting period 6 months)STD, LTDVacation and sick timeFriendly and Open-Door cultureSafety of our associates has always been our #1 priority.
