Large truck dealership looking to hire a Truck Parts Sales Representative for their Montgomery, NY location.

This position is a road-sales type role and so it involves being on the road a majority of the time (local not overnight) making appointments, seeing customers/scrap yards to close deals.Seeking candidates with sales skills and strong communication over the phone and in-person.
They want each person to be their own entrepreneur and build their own book of business.
The company will guide and train but the right candidate will have to be self-motivated.Responsibilities:Use all reasonable methods of prospecting for customers on a daily basis, via electronically, phone and personal contact.Assist customers in specifying proper components for trucks in their particular applicationsContinuously keep updated on product knowledge and industry trendsWeekly reporting/meeting with appropriate managerSales delivery process to include proper completion of paperwork, walk-around and review of equipment, introduction to pertinent dealership personnel, and follow-up after the sale is completedAttend various scheduled sales and training meetings.Job Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree – PreferredComputer skills, including, but not limited to: Microsoft OfficeBe motivated, proactive, focused, well organized and able to work independentlyMaintain high level of professionalism.Commercial Driver License is a plus or willing to obtain.Ideal Candidate:Looking for candidates willing to grow with our continuously expanding company.
