Our client is a mult-state, multiple site manufacturer in the food and beverage industry with headquarters in South Florida.
We are seeking a Human Resource Manager for a new facility in the Phoenix area.
The candidate should come from manufacturing, be local to the Phoenix area and have a solid generalist background.
Core Expectations of Role Managing Business Partner Liaison between management and employees Advise management of organizations policy matters;equal employment opportunity, sexual harassment and recommend needed changes.
Assist to create and implement conflict solutions in the workplace, interpret and administer standard operation procedures, oversight of employee terminations and administering disciplinary procedures Prepare personnel forecast to project employment need Train managers to perform employee evaluations within company policy Create site plan to increase employee engagement Plan, direct, supervise, and coordinate human resource’s departmental work activities of subordinates and staff Oversight relating to employment, compensation, labor relations and employee relations Administer to current and prospective employees; company policies, job duties, work conditions, wages, opportunities for promotion, and employee benefits Compensation analysis, establish competitive programs and ensure compliance within legal requirements
·Represent organization at personnel-related hearings and investigations.
Assure facility is FLSA compliant Qualifications Minimum of bachelor’s degree; Master’s Degree preferred 5 years minimum of direct or combination of related human resource management experience; 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in Human Resource management or working related Employee Relations experience preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience managing Human Resource Management operations overseeing exempt and non-exempt salary and hourly pay employees Experience is a manufacturing environment is highly preferred Preferred Certifications: PHR/SPHR or MSHRM-SCP
