Human Resources Manager

World leader in agricultural technology is growing their operations in the United States and is seeking a self-starter to lead their Human Resources department.

• Administering and executing human resource programs
• Drives company culture and employee morale
• First point of contact for HR related questions related to benefits, payroll, policies, etc.
• Implements corporate HR strategies, policies, and procedures (compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations)
• Collects and maintains all human resources records in designated corporate systems
• Administers HR and safety training
• Administers the performance review process and supports managers through the process
• Performs HR and safety investigations when necessary
• Oversee Worker’s Compensation systems and processes and run payroll.

  Represent the Authority concerning Unemployment and Workers Compensation and related disability

• Full Cycle Recruiting
• Creates, maintains, and updates job descriptions
• Identify top sources of candidates, conduct pre-screening, coordinate interviews and do hiring assessments
• Build long term partnerships with leading colleges and universities to form a strong talent pipeline
• Serve as a liaison with recruiting agencies and establish processes to optimize the recruiting lifecycle
• Act as our brand ambassador by championing our culture, mission and values on a regular basis
• Establish an effective talent acquisition strategy to build a world class team
• Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations, specifically CA

Desired Qualifications

• Agriculture Experience preferred
• B.A or B.S.

  in Human resources or related degree

• Flexibility and ability to work independently and hit the ground running
• 5 plus years work experience
• Open to part-time in the office and part time remote work
