As the Human Resources Manager with Liberty Packaging Omaha, you will work closely with our Plant Manager and leadership team in a friendly environment that is dedicated and passionate about Manufacturing Excellence and Innovation!This full-time position reports directly to the General Manager at Liberty Packaging and is located in our 330,000 square foot state of art facility in Papillion, Nebraska.Required SkillsIN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:Responsible for leading one direct report with a focus on training and cultureBuild trust-based, collaborative and sustainable relationships with managers and employeesEnsure the organization and its employees adhere to the Company’s Code of Business Ethics and Conduct and perform in a manner that fosters a culture of Caring, Innovation, Trust & ExcellenceProvides day-to-day general Human Resources support to employees and Leadership Team – elevating issues as needed to the Regional Human Resources ManagerBe a part of building strategic initiatives and driving them at the plant levelPartners with the Liberty Diversified International Shared Services team for ongoing HR support and consultation on recruiting, benefits, compensation, and organizational effectiveness needs at the facilityLead the employee life cycle initiatives from recruitment, new hire orientation, onboarding, attendance tracking, succession planning, to terminationHandles questions from employees on a variety of topics including benefits, compensation, company guidelinesCreates and maintains employee personnel, medical, and benefit filesManages day-to-day relationships with temporary agencies and works with Supervisors to adjust staffing as neededOversees the leave of absence processHelps facilitate employee time clock and attendance records and programManages all employee data entry into the Human Resources Information System (HRIS)Partners with Payroll team to ensure changes are completed properly and responds to questions as neededHelps to coordinate various employee events and participate in various cross-functional teams (Community Involvement, Engagement Action Planning Committee, Communication Meetings, etc.)Manages the annual Engagement Survey process and periodic lifecycle survey processes.Champions Well-Being initiatives in partnership with divisional Well-Being liaison(s)Partners with Plant Manager and safety committee on safety initiativesAssists with various administrative dutiesQUALIFICATIONS:Four-year degree or equivalent work experienceMinimum 3-5 years of Human Resource experienceAbility to establish, build and maintain strong relationshipsStrong interpersonal and communication skills, team playerWork with information that requires discretion and confidentialityHigh-level of proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and computer data entryCompetent in written and oral communication to include providing business updatesMust possess the ability to work independently with little supervisionABOUT OUR COMPANY:Liberty Packaging is a nationwide network of packaging companies providing supply chain solutions.
