Who Are You?

You are a Human Resources Manager with at least five years of experience, looking for a full-time position with a property management company.

You enjoy working independently, are self-motivated, and enjoy working on new projects without a lot of direction.

Who Are We?

AGM Management LLC is an 80-person property management company that operates apartment buildings throughout the United States.

We are growing rapidly and need someone with initiative to develop and professionalize our human resources department.

The Human Resources Manager will work full-time out of our Troy, Michigan headquarters.

Job Description: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Lead talent acquisition and retention activities.

Help attract, manage, develop and retain employees within a growing organization with hard-to-fill openings;* Formalize and lead onboarding/orientation of new employees;* Organize training for new employees from the different departments;* Administer compensation and benefits;* Manage employee relations;* Facilitate company-employee communication;* Develop and monitor performance management processes and initiatives.

Foster a coaching culture;* Communicate in a regular and scheduled way with employees to update them on policy or get employee feedback;* Serve as a key point of contact for employees and as a “switchboard” to direct them to the resources they need and eliminate redundancy;* Develop/improve upon our existing policies to ensure the safety, welfare, and wellness of our employees, and communicate those policies to our employees;* Ensure that our company’s HR policies are compliant with regulatory/reporting requirements;* Plan and facilitate annual company summit and similar events to increase company togetherness;* Champion diversity, equality, and inclusion initiatives Education and Experience Requirements * Bachelor’s or Masters in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, or similar* Minimum of five to seven years of work experience in human resources* Excellent listening, speaking, writing skills* Advanced Microsoft Excel/Office skills; extremely computer proficient* Confidentiality and discretion* Ability to handle a wide variety of assignments including email correspondence, project management and telephone communications* Enjoy working independently, sometimes for several days at a time* Occasional travel to sites to interface with staff* Comfortable undertaking a variety of projects that change frequently from one week to the next Perks: * Health insurance (employer paid)* Vision insurance (employer paid)* Dental insurance* 4 weeks paid vacation* Paid sick and bereavement time* Monthly fitness incentive bonus* SIMPLE IRA with annual employer contributions
