Popp Dental Laboratory is looking for a Human Resources Manager for our Greendale location!Position Summary: The Human Resources Manager is responsible for enforcing employment policies and procedures, administering employee benefit programs, planning company events and programs, and managing workplace safety initiatives. The Human Resource Manager also oversees our Building Maintenance & Housekeeping.Primary Responsibilities: · Be in direct contact with ODL Ottawa, collaborating on policies, procedures and execution of primary responsibilities· Facilitates with the recruiting, interviewing and hiring of new staff· Assists in the coordination of training and development schedules· Prepares and reviews benefit summaries with employees to ensure understanding and assists with enrollment decisions· Administers 401(k) paperwork· Maintains records of work-related injuries and illnesses, investigates claims, reviews records and reports incidents to appropriate parties· Provides guidance for initial and ongoing OSHA, HAZCOM and Driver & Safety Training· Ensures training compliance in regards to sexual harassment and safety training· Creates and maintains emergency evacuation plans for all locations· Oversees employee disciplinary meetings and investigations· Coordinates employee events and programs as well as community involvement· Promotes wellness programs and activities· Supports satellite locations, including regular visits· Conducts hourly terminations and exit interviews· Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes and new technologies in human resources, talent management and employment law· Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assignedHours: Monday through Friday, 7:30am – 5:00pmWe will provide the Social Security Administration (SSA) and, if necessary, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), with information from each new employee’s Form I-9 to confirm work authorization.
