Area of responsibilities include benefit administration, employee relations, employee wellness, employment law/compliance, payroll, performance management, policy implementation, onboarding andrecruitment.
Promotes employee empowerment, engagement, development and fun throughout the organization.Essential Functions & Responsibilities:E 25% Serves as primary contact for Campus’ external benefits brokers and administers employee benefits including group health insurance, health savings accounts, dental/vision, life insurance, accident/disability insurances and retirement plans.
This includes adhering to compliance requirements such as Cobra, ACA and 5500 filings and resolving administrative issues with carrier representatives.E 15% Works directly with Campus employees ensuring benefit enrollment is completed/setup, employee changes are processed accurately/timely and assists employees in resolving issues associated with their benefits.
Serves as the Wellness Coordinator for the credit union.E 10% Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations including FLSA, ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, and NMLS.
Ensures all required HR compliance posters/signs are up to date and displayed at all locations.
Administers the workers compensation program ensuring workplace accidents are documented and employees are cared for.E 10% Strong technical knowledge with the ability to manage the HRIS system.
This includes establishing new processes and procedures, report writing, implementing changes/updates, and ensuring system calculations align with established rules and policy guidelines.E 10% Provides administrative support and back up to HR team members including payroll, compensation, recruitment, and performance management.
Oversees the tuition reimbursement program.E 10% Oversees the employee onboarding and offboarding experiences.E 10% Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies impacting human resources and/or employment law.N 5% Adheres to and follows all governmental policies and regulations.N 5% Performs other duties as assigned.Performance Measurements:1.

SPHR or PHR certification required.Interpersonal Skills The ability to motivate or influence others is a material part of the job, requiring a significant level of diplomacy and trust.
Obtaining cooperation (internally and/or externally) is an important part of the job and a high level of interpersonal skills are critical to the success of this position.
Work frequently involves contacts requiring considerable discussion of problems, material presentations, and resolving issues impacting departments or divisions.Other Skills 1.
