Role Overview

Infinitive is looking for a forward-thinking and people-oriented HR Generalist to join our talented workforce. As part of Team Orange, they will provide valuable contributions to the business by focusing on effective relationship cultivation with Infinitivians, leading process improvements, and helping support integrated strategies that contribute to individual and company growth. Reporting into the Director of People Operations and working closely with the Champion of Infinitivian Experience (CIE) and Manager of Talent Acquisition, the HR Generalist melds conventional and innovative HR approaches that create meaningful, measurable impact and help Infinitive scale.

This is an incredible opportunity for an established professional who is data-driven and learning-oriented, believes in leveraging technology for robust innovation, and is passionate about people. You understand how to balance both individual and business-driven needs, thoughtfully go with and against the grain, and execute work for long-term success. Bottom line: you are collaborative, innovative, flexible, fun, and want to be a part of a growing consultancy!

What You’ll Do

  • Execute HR initiatives that connect to the Director’s larger People Operations strategy and framework in the areas of diversity & inclusion, performance management, total rewards, compliance, and employee relations. Additionally, seek out opportunities to enhance our day-to-day operations that create continuous improvement, streamlining of internal processes, improved communication, and collaboration across the team.
  • Cultivate and manage relationships (employee relations) across the organization, establishing yourself as a trusted operations colleague, brand ambassador, and solutions-driven professional.
  • Be seen as an advocate for employees and their growth while also taking responsibility for ongoing performance management by applying counseling steps to ensure accountability within our community.
  • Responsible for effectively managing Infinitive’s semi-annual performance management process, from planning to execution, and sharing insights to best support behavior changes, reinforce strengths, and/or recommendations for emerging leadership development opportunities.
  • Support the Director with the implementation of a supportive, competitive, and sustainable total rewards plan. Help analyze and design health and welfare benefits, compensation structures, and incentives to retain and recognize Infinitivians.
  • Help mitigate risk for the organization by applying HR best practices within a specific cultural context, keeping ethics, employment law, and other legal considerations in mind.
  • In collaboration with the CIE, drive a multi-faceted communication plan for disseminating important news related to company policies, processes, initiatives, and activities to best engage Infinitivians.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree and 4-5 years’ professional experience working in an HR or similar operational role, or an equivalent combination of education and applied experience. Experience working in consulting desired.
  • A generalist background, with exposure to multiple areas of talent management, including workforce planning, employee relations, performance management, total rewards, and professional development.
  • A client-focused approach, with excellent organizational, project management, communication, and relationship/interpersonal skills. Has a creative, solutions-driven mindset and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly-collaborative, and often ambiguous environment.
  • Possesses sound judgment, conflict resolution skills, and decision-making abilities; understands how best to balance diplomacy and ethics.
  • Can demonstrate knowledge of employment law, annual compliance activities, and their applications within a small-to-medium sized workforce with presence in several US geographies.
  • A technologist, one who champions systems, data analysis, and insights generation, and is comfortable navigating, reporting from, and leveraging collaborative tools. Exposure to ATS/HRIS/HCMS/CRM systems important.
  • Has proactively cultivated their own continuous learning by staying on top of HR and People trends, technologies, and best practices.
  • SHRM-CP, PHR or other HR-focused certification a strong plus.
