Job Responsibilities: The Human Resources Coordinator II will review, process, and respond to more complex Team Member inquiries and/or requests received through HR Express inbox and 800 number while ensuring all HR practices and policies are followed.
Responsible for the administration of the companys multi-state leave of absence (LOA) plan and responding to benefit questions related to coverage while on LOA.
Backup for Workers Compensation Administration.
Performs audits to ensure HRC I processes are completed appropriately.
Back up for HRC I.
Monitor and Audit Cherwell Tickets.
Researches and assist with resolving issues regarding Workday and Learning Management System.Specific duties include, but are not limited to: Leave of Absence and Reasonable Accommodation Administration:Act as one of the point contacts for Team Members and managers with inquiries about leaves and provide best-in-class customer service and support to Team Members experiencing a need for leave or accommodation.Handles the FMLA leave administration process from Team Members initial notice of the need for leave to their return to work.
This includes gathering and completing all required paperwork, determining leave eligibility, designating leave as FMLA-qualifying, requesting medical certification as needed, and accounting for intermittent and reduced scheduled leave use.
Facilitates other leave requests, which may include accommodation requests under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)Directing Team Members to the appropriate vendor/carrier for short term disability and responding to internal company and Team Member request for information or status regarding claimsMaintains knowledge of all applicable leave and accommodation laws including FMLA, ADA, and state and local laws.Performs audit of actions completed by HR Coordinator (HRC) I and ensures all actions processed in Workday are correct.
If not correct, makes appropriate corrections, confirming that the documentation is correct and informs/trains the HRC I going forward.Provides customer service and HR support with assisting complex questions from internal and external clients.Compiles sensitive and confidential HR-related statistics and prepares reports.
Completes Labor Poster requests.
Facilitates tracking of all compliance postings and facilitates the information to the field.Creates/maintains Process Documentation to ensure processes are up-to-date, and makes recommendations for improvements.Back up for Workers Compensation Administration and HRC I.Other duties as assigned, including assisting HR team with special projects.
