The Human Resources Coordinator p rovides coordination and administrative support in all areas of Human Resources including but not limited to; HR compliance, employee relations, project management, policies and procedures, benefits, and other NewGround employee programs.

Also provides administrative support of the Human Resources Department and the Vice President of Human Resources.

Assists HR team members with administration and implementation of programs and projects.

Responds appropriately to employee inquiries and directs to appropriate resources.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide operational support to the Vice President of Human Resources and HR team
  • Assists with managing employee data for maintenance of HRIS records as assigned
  • Assists HR with researching and compiling confidential data
  • Prepares and reconciles various HR related reports
  • Assist with new hire on-boarding process and orientation
  • Schedules new employee onboarding and training meetings
  • Assists in the administration of various human resource plans and procedures
  • Assist in the coordination of employee activities and events
  • Assist with employee recognition events
  • Assist with Special Projects
  • Assist in maintaining confidential employee records
  • Respond to employee inquiries about HR processes and practices, as appropriate
  • Switchboard backup / coverage
  • Perform all other related work, as assigned or as apparent

Education and Experience Prerequisites:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience preferred
  • 2+ years of professional experience in human resources preferred
  • Experience with Paylocity or similar HRIS preferred
