Job Overview:
The Human Resources Clerk is an administrative position within the Human Resources department. The primary focus of this position is to support functions within Staffing & Recruiting, in addition to supporting the needs of employees regarding HR changes/updates. The position will ensure all paper-based personnel files are up to date and in accordance with HR policies while maintain accuracy and completeness in relation to new hire, rehire, reinstatements & terminations. This position will be responsible for maintaining accuracy in the Human Resource Management System (Great Plains) on an as needed basis.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Job Requirements: (please ensure you meet the listed requirements prior to applying)
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office products; Excel, Outlook & Word (a skills test will be administered, and candidate must pass with a 70% pass rate)- required
· Must possess a high level of maturity and the ability to maintain confidentiality-required
· Great Plains (GP) experience-preferred
· Actively enrolled in college degree plan- preferred
· Demonstrates skills in planning and maintaining composure under pressure while meeting multiple deadlines
· Able to effectively work and communicate with all levels of the organization and excel in a team oriented environment
· Willing to work various hours as needed, including weekends, nights and/or holidays
· Willing to travel and participate in training as recommended or required
· Must have a Tribal Gaming License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license) as a requirement for this position
· Must have willingness and ability to work in a smoke/secondary smoke environment

Pay: $13.65 – $13.70 per hour
