Role Summary
To provide general support to the Human Resources Department
Key Responsibilities
• Support the HR Department with Training Coordination activities including:
o Maintaining the training database, training matrix and associated documents
o Scheduling training classes, coordinating resources, trainers, communicating schedule
o With support, develop training documentation as necessary
• Develop electronic (MS Power Apps, MS SharePoint, MS Power BI) tools to improve training delivery and tracking
• Support recruiting activities – sourcing, screening, scheduling interviews, draft offer letters, scheduling pre-employment checks
• Organize and facilitate new hire orientation for full time and temporary associates. Coordinate with other departments for presenters, content and scheduling
• Interface with Staffing Partners to manage open job orders, time sheet submission and Temporary Associate performance reviews
• Utilize ADP Workforce Now and E-Time to support payroll processing for temporary and full-time associates
• Support all associates in a professional manner
• File and maintain documents in paper and electronic format
• Support archived file maintenance, copying, filing and general administrative duties
• Create and maintain paper and electronic audit forms, documents and programs
• Be the main HR and EHS document control librarian
• Maintain and update employee facing communications, bulletin boards and scrolling information screens
• Handle confidential information on a regular basis
• Attain safety, quality and productivity goals
• Encourage safety and housekeeping practices and lead by example
• Promote and facilitate Open Door process, effective communication and Fair Treatment
• Participate in Continual Improvement activities
• Adhere to customer requirements, HR procedures, and company policies
• Use effective written and verbal communication with all associates.
• Perform other duties as assigned
Education and Experience
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience
• Strong computer skills and experience required
