JOB SUMMARY:
North American Services Inc is looking for a HR Generalist who enjoys working with people in a collaborative environment and embodies the core values that we follow, to achieve universal prosperity with our Customers, Company, Team Members and Communities.

We are a growing organization that has four major subsidiaries under it: Cross Country Freight Solutions, Price Truck Line, RAC Transport, DATS and MTS.
Our Human Resource team is focused on a positive culture and driving efficiencies.

The successful candidate must also be able to effectively prioritize, possess sound reasoning/judgment skills, maintain a positive attitude and be a strong team player.

The HR Generalist will work on variety of different of HR areas such as policy development, job descriptions, employee recognition and wellness, and cultural improvement.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
Develop and maintain successful relationships with team members and external stakeholders.
Responsible for HR compliance and filing requirements.
Develop and maintain policies and procedures and handbooks
Create and analyze job descriptions evaluations and classifications with leadership involvement.
Conduct salary and labor market research to define benchmarks.
Administer employee discipline procedures and investigations
Conduct periodic audits, prepare and present reports.
Manages unemployment correspondence and employment verifications.
Process terminations.
Support change efforts and communication.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
BachelorÂ’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field and minimum two (2) yearsÂ’ experience required.

Experience can be substituted for the education requirement.
Significant knowledge of HR functions.
Must be detail oriented and possess excellent interpersonal, organization, communication (written and verbal), analytical, and decision-making skills.

Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office 365, i.e.

Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.

Ability to handle multiple priorities under limited supervision.
SHRM/HRCI certification preferred but not required.
