Human Resource Business Partner

EPIC Insurance, a fast growing Commercial Insurance Company has an opportunity for a Human Resouce Business Partner to join our HR Team.

The HRBP will be a self-starter, and play an integral role within all HR areas as we transition this office from a PEOP supported HR model to the current regional HR model.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Position Responsibilities Promote positive employee relationships through communication and interpretation of HR Policies Support employee base by fielding day-to-day general HR questions Educate and support management on employee relations and employee performance issues Assist in the preparation and documentation of HR related policies Work with HR Team to provide a successful on-boarding experience for new hires Assist with scheduling and roll-out of training programs and initiatives Assist the Company in establishing and promoting our corporate culture Coordinate with Corporate to implement wellness initiatives, recognition programs and company-wide employee communications Serves as the secondary contact for phone, emails, and mail communications with employees and management regarding leaves of absences and related processes Maintain leave of absence records in HR System and leave tracking worksheet Participates in annual enrollment process as needed Participates in responding to inquiries and requests for assistance on eligibility, coverage and benefit matters About You Experience Requirements A working knowledge and understanding of employee benefit plans and leave administration including EEO, FLSA, FMLA/CFRA, ADA, Worker’s Compensation Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality in all aspects of Human Resources Proficient in HR Information Systems and Microsoft Office Suite with advanced skills in Excel Exceptional organizational and time-management skills Must be flexible to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, take direction and seek input from multiple people, and handle pressure in a positive manner Attention to detail, and project coordination skills Strong communication (verbal and written), interpersonal and organizations skills a must The ability to deal effectively and courteously with all levels of employees and Management Ability to multi-task and set priorities in a fast-paced environment Flexibility to adjust in a growing, changing environment Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word Experience in a growing organizational environment, a plus WHY JOIN US?
