Position Summary The HR Administrator will identify current and future hiring needs, create and update job descriptions, source candidates through databases, social media and other platforms, conduct interviews, and complete necessary tasks in the new hire process.
Duties and Responsibilities Identifying current and future hiring needs.
Collaborating with department managers to gain an understanding of job requirements.
Recruiting suitable candidates through databases, online employment forums, social media, etc.
Reviewing applications and conducting interviews to fill open positions.
Perform orientation for hourly and salaried staff.
Assessing applicants’ knowledge, skills, and experience to best suit open positions.
Completing pre-boarding and on-boarding paperwork for new hires.
Managing third party vendors and contract employees.
Promoting the company’s reputation and attractiveness as a good employment opportunity.
Keeping up to date on current employment legislation and regulations and enforcing them within the company.
Providing recruitment reports to HR and management team.
Required Skills/Experience Post-secondary education in Business, Human Resources or related field; and or equivalent HR experience.
Minimum 2-3 years of on-site or agency recruiting experience.
Ability to design and implement recruiting strategies.
Ability to conduct different types on interviews.
Excellent computer skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Good interpersonal and decision-making skills.
Working knowledge of employment law and legislation.
Applicant tracking software experience a plus.
Additional Information Must be capable of working under pressure and time constraints.

Able to work flexible hours to meet both internal and external customer requirements.
Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from management.
Able to manage and schedule multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Ability to perform other HR tasks as assigned.
The HR Administrator works in an office environment but may be exposed to some elements such as temperature and noise during time spent in the plant.
