We seek individuals with proven competencies and strong character to help lead our organization now and into the future.HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?The Thermo Fisher Scientific Graduate Leadership Development Program Human Resources Track (GLDP-HR) provides a fantastic opportunity for high potential advanced degree graduates to develop the skills vital for a career in HR at Thermo Fisher Scientific.WHAT WILL YOU DO?Our Human Resources Program enables participants to experience multiple rotation assignments over two years to provide a broad experience in different facets of HR while allowing for exposure to our core processes, technologies, and leaders.
Each rotation is individually designed and determined through a combination of business priorities and individual interests which allows you to be located at any US Thermo Fisher Scientific location.
The GLDP-HR rotations expose program participants to diverse functional areas, business units, products/services, and geographical areas.
Additional learning opportunities round out the two-year development program and include: three formal learning sessions, an Executive Mentor program, monthly meetings, participation in company-wide leadership programs, and a network of Graduate Leadership Development Program graduates across the company.ROTATIONS INCLUDE EXPOSURE TO:
– Manufacturing plants
– HR processes and systems
– Emerging markets
– Employee relations
– Strategic projects
– Exposure to Senior LeadersRelocation is REQUIRED both during and after completion of the program.
Some rotations may require travel, either domestic or international.The GLDP in HR affords participants an extraordinary opportunity to produce results, quickly gain credibility and develop a strong company network over two years.
From a post-program placement perspective, participants will work with the Program Manager to identify positions in which to interview across the organization.LOCATION/DIVISION SPECIFIC INFORMATIONGLDPs will complete a 2-year program consisting of 3 rotations which could include (but not limited to) 8-month rotations in the Boston Metro area; Carlsbad, CA; Pittsburgh, PA; or Greenville, NC.
Geographical flexibility is required during the program and upon completion of the program.
