Job Duties andnResponsibilities Manage the Human Resources Department’s resources andn personnel to obtain maximum benefit through organization, training andn leadership.
Assist senior staff in the development and implementationn of company-wide policies and procedures.
Maintain and update functionsn such as recruiting, and wage/salary administration.
Assist with the training and coaching management/supervisionn personnel to improve leadership skills.
Promote employee participation and cooperation inn achieving a positive teamwork culture for all employees.
Lead the â€People Planning†efforts to drive successionn planning.
Work with Senior Staff to identify high-potential employees, andn assist with coaching, mentoring and training these high-potentials.
Assist with the payroll administration by working withn Accounting and TriMas Payroll.
Must ensure timely and accurate payrolln processing.
Lead efforts to interact with the local community andn schools.
Working with the Norris Donation Committee and Marketing Analystn to bring successful communication between Norris and the community.
Direct employee performance evaluation program.
Promoten the opportunity for a formal discussion by employees and their supervisorsn to review overall work performance, objectives, and career development.
Design and administer wage, salary, and bonus programs ton provide competitive cost effective compensation plans by collecting andn analyzing survey data to support changes in policy, practice and rates ofn pay for all personnel levels.
Recruit qualified candidates following current EEO and ADAn hiring guidelines for exempt and non-exempt positions utilizing availablen resources to maintain an effective work force.
Coordinate and interpret all company policies to assuren consistent application and equitable employee relations.
Be a liaison with TriMas regarding Workers’ Compensation,n outside insurance carriers and primary care medical providers to ensuren that all industrial accident cases are resolved in a timely fashion.
Ensure OSHA 300 logs and State workers’ compensationn filing requirements are in compliance and coordinate with EH&S Managern to assure accurate recording of safety data.
Qualifications Education and Work Experience: BachelornDegree in Human Resource Management or related field with ten or more years ofnexperience in a Human Resource environment.
Prior management experience isnrequired.
PHR/SPHR certification is preferred.
PC experience using Microsoft products and common personnel tracking andntimekeeping data bases is necessary.
