This role will be responsible for the full driver talent strategy and execution including recruitment, hiring, retention and employee communications.
This person will be working at a hybrid of office and recruiting events with a base + commission salary structure.

Your Responsibilities Recruitment (60%)
·Develop recruiting strategies, processes and best practices in order to consistently improve the recruitment experience for our candidates and increase hiring volume
·Leverage and post positions using various resources such as social media, schools, print media, trade organization and colleges, career and job fairs and other networking opportunities.
·Assist in the development of branded collateral for employee marketing and internal communications
·Partner with driver area managers to capture all aspects of the role to better source candidates that fit the position
·Manage a part-time HR generalist that will assist with the recruitment & HR workload
·Conduct phone screens and build strong candidate pipelines for the high-volume hiring
·Utilize an applicant tracking system for reporting
·Ensure compliance with company policies and EEO / ADA guidelines HR (30%)
·Develop and implement an holistic employee retention strategy for drivers
·Coordinate and deliver employee onboarding (background checks, I-9 verifications, orientation, benefit enrollment etc.)
·Partner with driver area managers through employee training and programs (performance reviews, merit bonuses etc.)
·Facilitate employee issues and needs where appropriate (leave of absence, employee relations)
·Work with driver area managers on performance matters through decision matrix (time and attendance, productivity, etc)
·Liaise with other departments or functions (payroll, benefits etc.) on HR related initiatives
·Maintain all employee records and compliance requirements
·Coordinate and conduct stay and exit interviews
·Analyzes retention reports in effort to reduce turnover Driver Communications (10%)
·Develop and manage driver communication including area manager-to-drivers, HQ-to-drivers, and driver-to-driver
·Manage driver Facebook, blog, and Instagram communication channels and improve usage
·Prepare monthly newsletter to communicate information to employees Desired Experience
·2-4 years of relevant human resources/recruiting experience supporting an hourly workforce
·Ability to create and implement sourcing and retention strategies
·Knowledge of employment labor laws and regulations
·High attention to detail and an ownership mindset as it relates to solving employee challenges and issues
·The desire to work in a fast paced environment and grow your HR skills and knowledge
·Experience with HR Systems and processes
·Bilingual in Spanish & English
·Ability to work flexible hours if needed
