D/C Human Resources Asst

Essential Job Functions:

• Processes hourly payroll using Kronos and Oracle Time & Attendance system
• Maintains accurate records and personnel files
• Assists supervisors with associate relations issues; specifically answering HR related questions and interpretations
• Utilize bilingual skills to translate employee communications and interpret as required
• Serves as back-up to the Receptionist and cross-trained to handle benefits and worker’s compensation tasks
• Perform other related duties as required
• Administers Leave of Absences; Personal, Medical, FMLA
• Conducts Benefit Orientations and 401K orientations
• Acts as liaison between Associates and external support groups; assists Associates in securing the appropriate support
• Maintains I-9 records and ensures compliance to federal laws in regards to recordkeeping requirements

Minimum Requirements:

• Computer proficient, including Microsoft Word and Excel
• Excellent communication skills
• Customer Service Driven
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) including proficient English required; the ability to interpret and translate as necessary
• Proven organization, time-management, problem-solving skills
• Experience that shows ability to handle confidential information
• Flexible and adaptable to change
• Reliable and dependable with a history of excellent attendance
