The selected candidate will be a member of the Global University and Entry Level Recruiting team and help to drive an innovative U.S. solution for Boeing’s university recruiting and relations. This role has the distinct pleasure of leading engagement and attraction of top talent from Boeing’s internship talent pool, universities, strategic hiring programs, external technical affiliations, diversity conferences and other external sources.You will:Develop best in class strategies to attract and engage a diverse, engaged workforce for both interns and entry level roles throughout the global Boeing enterprise.Enhance the infrastructure required to facilitate a modern and integrated approach to Boeing engagements with universities and non-traditional candidate pools for intern and entry-level talent.Lead teams in the event engagement and attraction to help position Boeing as an employer of choice for innovation and aerospace.Be a thought leader and change agent—influencing leaders to adopt new technologies and approaches to compete for untapped, diverse, and competitive talent.Additional Responsibilities:In coordination with the Global University and Entry-Level Recruiting leadership team, the University recruiting and relations role will lead and develop an annual recruiting plan, including budget and goals for various hiring events and engagement.This role must represent Boeing effectively when conducting both virtual and on campus recruiting events (e.G., information sessions, interviews) and non-recruiting, developmental events (e.G., resume workshops, advisory council meetings).Lead as integrator and project manager of in-person and virtual events, ensuring appropriate resources and technologies are coordinated for execution.Partner with the internal U.S. University Intern and Entry-Level Recruiting team, functional partners and leaders, human resource partners, Global Equity Diversity Inclusion, Boeing Global Engagement, and other stakeholders to understand and connect the business needs; and associated demand to engagement strategies.Develop and drive talent engagement via the following means: virtual and in person events; via social media networking; cultivating relationships with university stakeholders; and frequent touchpoints with both active and passive candidates.Develop and execute early identification programs, where possible, and continue to develop relationships with targeted candidates.Present the university relations strategy to key stakeholders, universities, and other parties to ensure understanding of the future entry-level talent needs at Boeing.Leverage internal and external data analysis, trends, and benchmarking insights to inform a modernization of enterprise hiring plans.Develop strong relationships with university career services, faculty, student organizations, diversity/disability offices, and other groups identified as relevant to recruiting.Drive awareness and understanding of the organization’s diversity and inclusiveness values.Train and oversee Boeing personnel, campus teams, and student ambassadors that support outreach efforts for assigned university portfolios.Partner with Boeing Global Engagement for annual university portfolio contribution process and advise university focals in the alignment of funds to university capabilities and Boeing talent needs.Identify and recommend campus specific marketing opportunities to the Boeing Recruitment and Advertising focal/ manager and Global University and Entry-Level Recruiting leadership team.Advise hiring leaders on hiring best practices, compliance and policy in accordance with required federal policy guidelines and mandates (such as Office of Federal Compliance, Data protection, EEO).Continue to enhance our brand presence on select campuses, external technical affiliations, and in the industry through ambassadorship, events, and social outreach.The ideal candidate will have:Previous success and experience in University Talent Acquisition and/or University relations roleComfort with ambiguous and complex spaceThrives in environment where you can lead, create, and challenge old ways of thinking, activate new ways of thinking and actionA proactive and solution orientated and team-building approach to work ensuring diverse perspectives throughout willingly pitches in to get the job doneA mind geared towards thinking strategically, intuitively, empathetically, and ability to solve unstructured problemsAbility to successfully manage multiple projects and priorities concurrentlyStrong communication skills and the ability to partner with senior / executive leaders to establish strategic plans and objectivesPassion for aerospace and innovationDemonstrated ability to drive innovation and process improvements.Understanding of the entry level/university recruiting landscape and the shifting environment of attracting entry-level talentThe ability to perform duties in a professional fashion, with a high degree of innovation, autonomy and a can-do attitudeThis position has been identified as a virtual opportunity and does not require applicants to live in Renton, Washington, United StatesEmployer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):5+ years experience working in a corporate university talent acquisition environment5+ years of experience developing and fostering relationships with university and external partnerships5+ years of experience successfully partnering with senior leaders to strategize and implement HR initiatives5+ years experience formally or informally leading teams in a cross-functional environment5+ years successfully demonstrating project management skills, including managing complex and/or multiple project5+ years experience planning, organizing, facilitating and/or executing large scale meetings and eventsPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):5+ years working in Talent Acquisition for a large, multi-national corporation5+ years performing strategy work (e.G. market or competitive research and analysis and facilitating strategic decisions) in a University Recruiting / Relations capacityDevelop and execute customized sourcing and recruiting strategies based on the unique needs of your hiring teamsExperience delivering presentations for complex ideas and integrated campaignsComfort in managing ambiguity and changing priorities in a fast-paced collaborative environment in support of multiple organizationsUnderstanding of the entry level/university recruiting landscape and the shifting environment of attracting entry level talentTypical Education/Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.G. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.G.
