RESPONSIBILITIES: Kforce’s client, a global risk management and insurance brokerage company, is searching for an experienced Benefits Customer Service Representative for their location in Tempe, AZ.
This role will be remote until the end of the year however the candidate must live in the Tempe area.
Summary: This phone-based customer service representative will be providing benefits assistance to clients and customers.
For this position, pay rates will be between $17.00 and $17.75 an hour, and the candidate will be working 30-40 hours per week.
While working for this large, established organization, Benefits Customer Service Representatives will work on long term assignments with the potential to go perm, and will have the potential for promotability.
Responsibilities: Provide a high level of customer service support when handling customers questions/complaints in respect to defined benefit pension and/or health and welfare plans Quickly build rapport and respond to customers in a compassionate manner by identifying and exceeding expectations Demonstrate flexibility to customize customer service approach to meet all types of member communication styles and personalities Handle confidential information with sensitivity and discretion in accordance with HIPAA and Data Privacy laws and company data security requirements Benefits Customer Service Representatives proficiently translate health and welfare and pension terms, complex plan information and processes into simple explanations and instructions that customers can understand and act upon Job Requirements: REQUIREMENTS: Customer service experience is required Ability to respond to customers in a respectful, accurate, timely manner, while consistently meeting commitments; Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Previous experience/knowledge of HIPAA and Data Privacy laws Candidates qualifying for this position will have similar experience along with the skills and abilities to perform the duties mentioned Any relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
