Traveling Teacher Aide // FT

This position is entry level and does not require any experience The seasonal traveling aide position will start in the fall and go through spring time.  Due to the versatile nature of this position extreme flexibility is required as this individual will travel from center to center based on the need. Wages:  $15.00 – $18.00 per hour We are seeking self-motivating, creative, flexible and hardworking individuals who have a passion for working with children and a great attitude.  Applicants must be 18 years of age or older. Responsibilities: Instruct children in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth Create a fun and safe learning environment Cleaning and sanitizing Assist the Teacher and Assistant Teacher throughout the day Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents Maintain the health and safety of all students  Requirements: Must be 18 years of age of older Have strong organizational and interpersonal skills Be able to relate well to children and employees Must have reliable transportation Available to work within the open business hours of 6:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. Monday-Friday Due to the nature of this position, to be considered as an applicant, we require proof of vaccination.  Must be available full time We offer up to 70% off of childcare services to our employees   Additional benefits offered are Medical Insurance (after 60 days) and Paid Time Off (after 1 year). Shift hours vary within our location hours of operations 6:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. If at any time during this temporary position, the traveling aide becomes an established employee within a particular center/location, the traveling aide receives a new job offer outlining the new permanent position.  All positions at Anna’s Bananas Daycare and Preschool require that all employees providing “direct contact services” to children within a licensed program must have a Background Study completed through the Minnesota Department of Human Services which results in a completion status of “passed”.
