They’ve been operating for nearly a 50 years with a high focus in the Midwest market, specifically in restaurant/retail projects. As their pipeline continues to expand, they are looking to add a commercial superintendent to their team.

They’re a strong family owned company, offering great work/life balance and structured career growth, who are looking to provide progressive building services. Due to growth, they are currently seeking to appoint a Superintendent on their traveling construction team.

Description

The Traveling Superintendent position will play a key part in the continued growth and success of the company.

• Actively manage and maintain safety on-site, such as toolbox talks, safety checklists, and continuous observation.
• On-site field supervision
• Direct, coordinate, and facilitate meetings for owners, subcontractors, architects, and local authorities
• Develop site logistics plan for entire project to maximize productivity and minimize impact to building occupants
• Run weekly subcontractor coordination meetings
• Oversee creation and completion of punchlist process

Profile

The ideal candidate for the Traveling Superintendent position will have the following:

• Experience working on restaurant/retail/grocery projects $1M+
• 10+ Years of construction experience
• Background running projects between $1M- $3M
• Ability to effectively lead and communicate with subcontractors
