The OR Registered Nurse is responsible for aiding surgeons in the operating room.
Operating Room RNs will prepare the room and the patient for surgery and make sure that all medical equipment is clean and operating correctly.ResponsibilitiesOR Nurse duties include: Monitoring the health of the patient before, during and after the procedure.
Anticipate the needs of the surgeons and provide instruments and medical supplies to them during procedures.
Gathering and tracking all items needed for lab examinations.
RequirementsOne year of experience as an Operating Room Registered Nurse within the past two years.
Current Nursing License in good standing.
Up to date BLS from American Heart Association.
Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
