Culpeper Regional Hospital
POSITION OVERVIEW
Some of the major job functions include but are not limited to:
Performs routine housekeeping tasks to include cleaning, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and re-stocking supplies throughout the hospital and premises under contract for housekeeping services.
Provides trash removal and disposal for all hospital departments.
Insures adequate supplies are available to complete daily tasks.
Follows safety and infection control policies and all other hospital and department policies and procedures.
Attends required department meetings, in-services, and continuing education classes.
Occasional floor maintenance to include shampooing of carpets or buffing of floors.
Performs as shift leader as assigned by Directors or Supervisors.
Performs other job related duties as required by Directors and Supervisors.

Non-exempt
REQUIREMENTS
Education:
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Experience:
1 year experience in Housekeeping preferred
Knowledge, skills and abilities required:
Must be able to see and read English language instructions.
Ability to multitask and prioritize.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays.
Ability to communicate verbally
Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time
Ability to sweep/mop, push/bend repetitively
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
