Tavern Supervisor, Yavapai Hotel

Delaware North parks and resorts is hiring for a Tavern Supervisor to join our team at Yavapai Hotel in Grand Canyon, Arizona. As a Tavern Supervisor, you will implement and document internal controls focusing on the safety of food products at Yavapai Hotel. You will help ensure all food safety procedures are followed to ensure our associates and guests are kept safe.

Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing the quality and food safety programs, including implementation, training associates, and documentation.
• Complete internal audit programs for quality and food safety plans for each event.
• Monitor general cleaning tasks in all work areas.
• Perform the calibration of recording and measuring equipment.
• Record any issues found during inspections.
• Partner with the leadership team to share results from inspections; make recommendations when required.
• All other duties assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year previous work experience in the food safety industry.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking ability.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
• Standing and walking for entire length of shift.
• Works frequently in a hot and damp environment.
