NeuroRestorative, a partner of The MENTOR Network provides rehabilitation services for people of all ages with brain, spinal cord and medically complex injuries, illnesses and other challenges. In a variety of locations and community-based settings, we offer a range of programs, including vocational and therapy programs, day treatments, and specialized services for infants, children, adolescents, Military Service Members and Veterans.Life Skills Trainer Caregiver Traveling Provides training, assistance and supervision to program group participants in the areas of living skills, therapeutic recreation, and other forms of assistance in both residential & community settings. Assists with medical supervision. Facilitates working relationships between community employers and Group participants. Responsibilities: Ensures follow through of specific programs developed by the team in the community and in the residence.Adheres to all treatment philosophies and completes all forms and measurement tools as required. Monitors and provides training in mealtime programming as necessary, prepares food as needed. Assists, supervises and trains participants in basic and advanced living skills (grooming, laundry, cooking, room cleaning, shopping, toileting, feeding, turning in bed, etc) according to the program and charting requirements.Assists with living needs of the participants as needed. Adheres to emergency guidelines and serves a primary decision maker relative to facility emergencies and participant emergencies on the job site or in the community.Maintains cleanliness and appearance of residence at all times. Complete all cleaning activities as identified on cleaning schedule and as assigned by supervisor.Completes necessary documentation, reports, service summaries, etc. in a timely, thorough, and accurate manner. Attends staff meetings, conferences, in-services as assigned by supervisor.Maintains confidentiality and assists with maintenance of all accreditation and license requirements as required and follows company policies and procedures. Successfully completes mandatory training. Responsible for attending annual/Semi-annual refresher/ re-certification courses prior to certification expiration dates.Implements participant treatment programs and related tasks, procedures, and expectations as identified and instructed.Manages physical transfer of participants following training guidelines .Adheres to emergency guidelines and serves a primary decision maker relative to facility emergencies and participant emergencies on the job site or in the communityMaintains cleanliness and appearance of residence at all times. Complete all cleaning activities as identified on cleaning schedule and as assigned by supervisor.Completes necessary documentation, reports, service summaries, etc., in a timely, thorough and accurate manner.
