Mechanical Inspector
As a Mechanical Inspector you will be responsible for supporting Industrial Equipment installation projects to include pre-commissioning, inspections, testing, and basic troubleshooting.
Travel: 100%
Pay Rate: $23/hr + 595/wk per diem
***Paid hourly for travel time + $0.40/mile***
Responsibilities:
- Travel across the continental USA to customer sites
- Support equipment installation projects by inspecting equipment, tightening down bolts, and ensuring proper installation for launch
- Read and interpret blueprints and installation manuals
- Assemble and/or disassemble mechanical components
- Provide documentation and communicate effectively with key project personnel
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical equipment/systems (mechatronics)
- Blueprint Reading experience
- Mechanical Assembly experience a plus
- Understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, air operated components etc.
- Computer skills such as MS Office Suite
- Ability to travel nationwide 100% of the time, using your own vehicle
- Valid Driver’s License
